Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
Good shout on Lanzini playing there I did like him in that role.

Even Jenkinson at RB, as bad as he was in that early part of 2nd season he was with us I agree he is probably better than what we have now. Issue is Wenger has him so overpriced it makes it a bad deal. Wages would be big too. Would be better off going after that Iorfa, if available and at reasonable price.

Striker who can play at this level?
Isn't injury prone?
Doesn't have a bad attitude (anymore)?
Knows where the goal is?

Defoe anyone? (Short term from Jan)

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
I'd happily have Jenkinson back at RB.

We still need a striker who can play at this level, isn't injurt prove, doesn't have a bad attitude and know where the goal is.

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
Three at the back doesn't make us defensive, far from it. It's the type of central midfielder we use that gives that impression.

I'd put Lanzini in Noble's position. Played well there before he creates space and is very classy on the ball.

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
Having 3 centre backs constantly sets us up so defensively though.

We wouldn't have to spend a fortune on a right back. How much was that Iorfa?

Randolph
Right Back - Reid - Ogbonna - Cresswell
Kouyate - Obiang
Antonio - Lanzini - Payet
Striker

Gives the side much better balance.

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
We need to sign more than a RB if our squad is best served by a back 4. I think the squad are set up for three CBs at the back to be honest, I'd rather we spend our money on a striker or two.

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
When the whole team is fit he doesn't make the starting 11 for me. I don't particularly think he brings great captain qualities either.

Surely has to be Obiang and Kouyate in the centre going back to a back 4 once we sign a right back that Bilic actually get's on with.

I don't think Fellaini is even a footballer is he? He's a rugby player I thought

He brings absolutely nothing to the team. I have no idea even what his position is.

It looks to me like he's a donkey whose job it is to get his elbow into the face of the opposition as often as possible.

No thank you.

Fiddle,

Forget what a massive cunt he is, and his hair. Just look at what he brings to the team.

He breaks up play, has good energy, is mobile, passes well, is a goal threat and gees up others around him.

He'd do well in our midfield.

If you think Fellaini is the answer to our problems then you and I have a very different idea of how our club should move forward.

The statement it would make about our total lack of ambition as a club would be devastating.

Also meant to say how impressed I was with the amount of pressing and defending that Payet got through yesterday, big shift from him, probably the hardest work Ive seen him put in.

What a despicable, weaselly, invertebrate, cojones lacking response.

MANUEL LANZINI - 6.5 Daily Mail.

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
I don't think Noble will be sold. We may upgrade him, but I think he'll be kept on and used like Pottsy was as a reliable sub.

I know we hate him, but I think Fellaini would probably suit us, if we could stop him giving away endless free kicks and getting sent off or booked.

I would tend to agree.

Lanzini has great feet and passing and has shown good movement and skills in the past but he is struggling to make a mark on games this year aside from that finish against Palace.

Another player that played through the summer with no rest at the South American COPA thing?

Noble is beginning to enter the latter part of his career, has not always been deployed in a more forward role that I think suits him better but for the short term future deserves the nod ahead of Lanzini as a starter. We have no one that will work as hard defensively even if he (Noble) struggles with the pace and physicality needed. He does try to close the space and does get a foot in. Who else is going to come in and do that? Nordtveit? Yikes ! Is Fernandes a defence minded player or all rounder that both attacks and defends? Maybe and if so, give him a try. He could do it I think and is much better equipped as an athlete than Nobes. But he does not have experience so again its a trade off.

Obiang cannot be the only defensive minded midfielder we have?

Re: Noble thanks mate but your time is up.
I did post about football, I said you know NOTHING about it as you often prove.

Mainly by wanting to drop someone rated 9/10 in other quarters, that's not very positive now is it?
